William Frederick Lawrence Sample, 75, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026. Born on November 1, 1950, in Tacoma, Washington, William was the son of William Felton Sample and Lenamae Inez Luther.

William was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His life touched many people, and he will be remembered with love and affection by those who knew him.

As a father, William held a special place in the hearts of his children. The bond between a parent and child is one that lasts a lifetime, and the love shared between them remains through the years. His family will carry with them the memories, moments, and pieces of him that became part of their own lives.

William will be remembered for the good times, the laughter, the conversations, and the memories that brought joy. His life was an important part of his family’s story, and his memory will continue through those he leaves behind.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William Felton Sample and LenaMae Inez Luther; his son, William (Billy) Robert Sample; and his brother, Charles Delos Sample.

He leaves behind his son, Charles Sample and his wife, Tara, of Searcy, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Caden Sample and Aubree Sample, both of Searcy, Arkansas; his sisters, Inez Stone, of Little Rock, Arkansas and Sandra Sample, of LaGrange, Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews.

William leaves behind a family who will miss him, remember him, and carry his memory forward. Though life is filled with many chapters, it is the love we give and receive that remains with us. His memory will live on in the hearts of his son, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

May he rest peacefully, knowing that he was loved and that he will not be forgotten.
