Tracie Lynn Tipton
January 11, 1968 – September 11, 2026
Tracie Tipton, 58, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away on September 11, 2026. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, friend, and quite simply, one of a kind.
Tracie was a happy, goofy, funny soul who had a way of making just about anyone smile. She could brighten a room with her personality and leave you laughing while also slightly questioning her sanity-which, if you knew Tracie, was probably exactly how she intended it.
Above all else, Tracie loved her children, Michael Mobley and Christopher Mobley, beyond measure. Their happiness and health were what mattered most to her. She wanted nothing more than to see her boys happy, healthy, and doing well. She would have given her last dollar to help someone who needed it, often putting others before herself without giving it a second thought. That generosity was simply part of who she was.
Tracie had many things she loved in life, including her Dallas Cowboys, crocheting, and her beloved cat, Emmitt, who was thoroughly spoiled and undoubtedly knew he had Tracie wrapped around his little paw.
Her love of crocheting was more than a hobby. Tracie used her talent to make blankets and other handmade gifts for family and friends, and she also donated crocheted items to hospitals to bring comfort to people she didn’t even know. She had a heart for helping others, and she found ways to make a difference wherever she could.
Tracie was preceded in death by her boyfriend, Marcus Garrett, her sisters, Sonia Melson and Karena Tipton; and other loved ones who welcomed her home.
She is survived by her parents, Elizabeth “Liz” Tipton and William “Bill” Tipton; her sons, Michael Mobley and Christopher Mobley; her grandchildren; and her sisters, Michele Runyan, Monica Tipton, and Amy Tipton, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.
Tracie believed in God, and her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with those she loved who went before her.
Tracie will be remembered for her laughter, her generosity, her slightly crazy sense of humor, her love for her family, and the enormous heart she carried with her. She may no longer be here
to make us laugh, give us something she crocheted, cheer for the Cowboys, or spoil Emmitt, but the love she gave so freely will remain with the people whose lives she touched.
Tracie will be cremated, and her family will celebrate her life with a Celebration of Life to be held in October. Details will be announced at a later date.
Fly high, Tracie. Keep crocheting, keep laughing, and keep an eye on all of us down here. We love you more than words can say.

My love, prayers, and condolences go to the family. I met Tracie through Marcus and very quickly she went from friend to sister. She always had a listening ear and advice about almost everything. She was there for me during some of the hardest time I was going through. She always made me laugh without knowing I was having a bad day. I am so blessed to of had her come into my life. I will miss her dearly and wont ever forget her. She is finally reunited with Marcus and many loved ones. I will cherish every memory of her. I love you sis and I miss you more than words can explain. Watch over us and check in on me from time to time.

A beautiful write up for a beautiful soul.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” John 14:27
Tracie was a bright spot in my life in the years we worked together, and she often shared her love of the family that meant so much to her. After we no longer worked together, it was good to know that such a good soul was in the world..I’m so sorry for your loss, all of you who loved her so much.
Tracie is apart of our Phillips family- She has always loved us as her own. She was a flower girl at my parents (Terry and Cheryl) wedding.. I’m going to miss her comments and messages of encouragement or her sharing memories with me about grandma and grandpa Phillips. We are a lot alike. Love God and family and our cats . She is already missed so much. I know she was greeted very well in Heaven- by her love Marcus, her sisters and many more. We will see her again one day!
I know I can speak for our Phillips clan and say we are so sorry for your loss. We send our love and prayers your way!
