Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Boley Ray (Bo) Powers, 86, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away on September 4, 2026.

Born on September 24, 1939, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Bo was the son of Moultie Amster Powers and Wilma Elenita Hunter. He grew up on a small farm in Arkansas. His father later became a successful farm equipment dealer until drought and hard times in the early 1950s led to the failure of the business.

Bo graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Administration degree specializing in Human Resources. He went on to a distinguished 33-year career with AT&T, where he was awarded Life Member of the AT&T Human Resources District Alumni in 1991. Upon retirement, he and his wife Sandra moved from St. Louis to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.

A lifelong University of Arkansas Razorbacks fan, Bo loved watching sports, playing golf, living on the lake, and dining with friends and family…where he was always “over-served.” He was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, where he served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. He volunteered much of his time helping everyone he could; he was an active member of Meals on Wheels and past president of the Arkansas Razorback Club in Hot Springs Village.

Bo is survived by his wife, Sandra Powers of 47 years; his children, Kelly Powers of Nokomis, Florida, Kimberly and Dale Green of Brodnax, Virginia, and Kevin and Cathey Powers of Little Rock, Arkansas; his stepdaughter, Debbie and John Brevik of Wichita, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Samuel Powers, Nickolas Powers, Jackson Powers, Catherine Silke, Tyler Brevik, and Matthew Brevik.

He was predeceased by his sister, Kay Sharon Powers (July 22, 1938 – April 25, 2014), and his brother, Thomas Lee Powers (September 27, 1936 – July 18, 2017).

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 3, 2026, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 199 Barcelona Rd in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.  The family request memorials to the Holy Trinity Episcopal Memorial Fund.
