Jerry DeWayne Lum, age 66, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on September 25, 2026. He was born in Marion, Louisiana on May 12, 1960 to Fulton Lum Sr. and Ruth Tarter Lum.

Jerry is preceded in death by both parents, sister Judy Oliver, brother Jimmy Lum, son Joshua Lum and Daughter-in-law Summer Lum.

He is survived by two children Nicole Turner (Jeff) and Dylan Lum; siblings Fulton Lum Jr., Karen Graves (Karl), Sandra Johnstone, and Janice Dupree (Carter); life partner Helen Harville; along with host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Jerry was a member of Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Huttig, Arkansas. He enjoyed spending his time researching genealogy, cooking, listening to music, and growing plants.

A graveside urn interment will be held at Lapile Cemetery in Huttig, Arkansas at a later date.
