Johnie R. Lancaster, age 82, of Rose Bud, Arkansas passed away on September 4, 2026. He was born in San Francisco, California on November 9, 1943 to Ross and Willie Mae Lancaster.
Johnie is preceded in death by his parents; wife Sara Lancaster; sons Randy Lancaster and Donald Lancaster; and siblings Jerry Lancaster, Raydean Lancaster, and Trudy Bone.
He is survived by his daughter Delia Lamont (Leon); grandchildren Adam Lamont, Kassandra Lancaster, and Leigh Lancaster; great-granddaughters Alexia and Becky; great-great-granddaughter Jasmine; sisters Barbara Lancaster, Loretta Echols, and Annette Lancaster; long-time companion, Patty Crotts; along with a host of extended family and friends.

So many memories flooded my mind when I heard of Uncle John’s passing. Seeing his rig roll up on Divide St in Texas as a little girl. “Only passing through” he would say. His laugh was infectious and I adored him.He will be missed by so many. Prayers to Delia and her family. I love you all.
