Paul Eugene Stephens passed away peacefully this weekend.

Paul enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, hiking, and riding motorcycles. He also had a lifelong love of movies, music, and his extensive collection of audio-visual equipment. He took great pride in the things he owned and cared for them meticulously. His beloved dogs, particularly the German Shepherds who were a part of much of his life, held a special place in his heart.

In his final years, Paul spent time reflecting on his life and seeking spiritual peace. His family finds comfort in knowing that he made peace with God and sought forgiveness and redemption.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Eugene Stephens and Norma Jean Barnes, and his younger brother, Tim Stephens.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffanie Tarrow-Benhase, and her husband, Scott Benhase; grandson Gavin Sipes and his wife, Kara; granddaughter Paige VanNewkirk and her husband, Jonathan; his younger brother Arthur Davis and his wife, Natalie Davis, and stepson Kendall Collins; his younger brother Chris Davis, along with his daughter Emma Kim and her husband, Han, and his son Wyatt Davis and his wife, Terri; his bonus brother, Charlie Sensing; and the children of his late brother Tim, nieces Cristi Steele, Misty Matheson and her husband, Jack, Katee Mullins and her husband, Lane, and nephew TJ Stephens, along with their families. He is also survived by many extended family members who were loved and cherished throughout his life.

The family will announce arrangements for a Celebration of Life at a later date. In the meantime, they ask that family and friends keep them in their thoughts and prayers.

Paul will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, fishing, movies, music, motorcycles, and especially his beloved animals.

May he rest peacefully.
