Therma “Charlene” Wooten Allison, 96, passed peacefully from this life, answering God’s call and going home to Heaven. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, wisdom, faith, and beautiful memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that she is now resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior. Her faith was a beautiful part of her life, and the love she shared with her family and friends will continue to live on through the generations. Until we meet again in Heaven, she will forever be loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

Charlene was born in Sidon, Arkansas. Throughout her 96 years, she created a legacy rooted in family, faith, love, and devotion to those around her. Her life touched many people, and the memories she created will be cherished for generations to come.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Ray Allison; her parents, Bessie Wilson Wooten and Milligan Wooten; her siblings, Richard Wooten, Retha Rhodes, Wanda Kelly, and Roger Wooten; and her son, Terry Allison.

She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts, including her sibling, Odean Fuller; her children, Robert “Bob” Allison and wife Debbie Allison, David Allison Sr., and Sheila Peoples and husband James Peoples. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tracy Allison; Jill Pierce and husband Allen Pierce; Niki Allison; Sabina Allison and wife Trellis Gaarder; DJ Allison and wife Cayla Allison; Eddy Green Sr. and wife Jessica Green; AJ Green and wife Erin Green; Sarah Allison; and Levi Allison and wife Amber Allison. Her great-grandchildren include Katelyn Pierce, Brooklyn Pierce, Eddy Green Jr. and wife Kathy Green, Emily Rollands, Gracie Green, Logan Green, Shane Green, Jaidyn Green, Zoey Green, Simeon Green, and Agnes Green. She is also survived by her great-great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Green, Natalie Green, Ava Green, Amya Green, Sarah Green, Callum Allison, Ellas Allison, Kristen Allison, and Tallyn Allison, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice Home Care and their wonderful aides and nurses for the compassionate care and kindness they provided to Charlene and her family, especially Alicia Hall, Devyn Seale, Eliana, and Sarah. Their love and care brought comfort and peace during her final days.

Charlene’s earthly journey has come to an end, but her love and legacy will continue through the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will be treasured, her faith remembered, and her love carried forward by those blessed to have known her.

Until we meet again in Heaven, rest peacefully. You will forever be loved and never forgotten.

A graveside urn interment will be held on October 5, 2026 at 10:00am at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
