Velma Lea Robinson passed away on September 18, 2026 in her home in Cabot, Arkansas at the age of 73. She was born in Blooming Grove, Arkansas on August 4, 1953 to George Wallace and Lizzie Laverne Parham Beckley.

In her younger years she was a homemaker and factory worker, but most importantly she was a caregiver to her mother for many years. She also loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother Byron “Bill” Beckley; sisters Deloris “Sis” Deluryea and Brenda Willcutt; mother-in-law Wanda “Sue” Robinson; and one granddaughter Stephanie Shannon.

Velma is survived by her daughter Amanda Horn of Cabot; son Mark Robinson and daughter-in-law Natasha Robinson of Sherwood; granddaughters Emalee and Haylee Robinson of Sherwood; grandsons Brandon Horn of Cabot and Tyler Shannon of Austin; great-grandchildren Christian and Lizzie Shannon, Rhett, Rexton, and Bentley Horn; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot.
