Wesley A. Oxner, age 92, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on September 9, 2026. He was born in Des Arc, Arkansas on October 13, 1933 to Abner and Bertha Oxner.

Wesley joined the US Air Force in 1953. He met the love of his life in 1959 while stationed in England. After honorably serving in the United States Air Force for 27 years, he retired and moved back to Arkansas. He then went to work at National Travelers in Sherwood for several years before finally retiring.

Wesley is preceded in death by his wife Joan Quarton Oxner; parents Abner and Bertha Oxner; siblings Viola Collins, Viona Arrwood, Pearl Whitlock, Norvil Oxner, Leonard Oxner, and Harvey Oxner; and grandson Zachary Gaither.

He is survived by his children Deborah Oxner Patrick, Wayne (Karen) Oxner, Julie (David) Gaither, Sharon (Mitch) Strickland; grandchildren Christopher, Lauren, Shelby, Ashley, Kami, Lacey, Brooke, Spencer, Carter, Ava, Tristan, Adam, Lenny, Starr, Taey, Brea, Kaleb, Lilly, Aiden, Haliegh, Lucy, Norah, Gavin, Eve, and Chandler; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family including the Quarton family in Ipswich, England.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 2:00pm at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.
