Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Francis Everett Bright Jr. (Sonny), 80, of Conway and Jacksonville went to his Heavenly home October 8, 2026. He was born November 30, 1945 to the late Francis (Everett) Bright Sr. and Frances (Maxine) Porter Bright.

He graduated from Lonoke High School in 1965. After high school, he joined the Army Reserve where he proudly served for 12 years.

He was a retired truck driver of 50 years, 30 of which were with Coulson Oil.

He is survived by his only daughter Karen Price (Steven) of Jacksonville; a granddaughter Hayley Bright and grandson Gavin Jones both of Conway; two sons David Hale of Jacksonville, Chuck Hale (Janet) of Conway; grandchildren Kristy Strack (Bruce), Bryan Hale, Misty Hale, Danny Hale, all of Conway; four great-grandsons Charlee Burnside, Philliip Satterfield, Brooks Hale, and Peyton Hale; one great-granddaughter Lexi Hale; two sisters Clara Horton of Lonoke, Wanda Jenkins of Jacksonville; and numerous family and friends whom he loved deeply.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Evelyn (Null) Bright; his parents; and a sister Gloria Bratton.

He will be deeply missed and loved by many who will never forget him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with Will Price officiating.
