Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

In Loving Memory of Joseph Lamar Boyles
March 30, 1956 – October 10, 2026

Joseph Lamar Boyles, age 70, passed away on October 10, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and countless memories that will forever be treasured.

Born on March 30, 1956, in Greenville, Mississippi, Joseph was raised there before eventually settling in Cabot, Arkansas, with the love of his life, Wanda “Jeannie” Boyles. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and dedication.

Joseph was a caring, hardworking man who took great pride in providing for the people he loved. He spent his working years stocking vending machines until his retirement, always doing what he could to take care of his family. But beyond his hard work, it was his heart and sense of humor that made him so special. He was known for his caring nature and his ability to crack a joke, bringing laughter to those around him. He had a way of making people feel cared for, and those who knew him will remember not only the things he did for them, but the love he showed them along the way.

Above all, family was at the heart of Joseph’s life. He played an immeasurable role in raising his granddaughters, Lindsey Rich and Katherine Kirk, helping shape their childhoods with his love, care, and support. He was more than a grandfather; he was a father figure, a source of love and support, and a constant presence during some of the most important years of their lives. The lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will live on through them for generations to come.

Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda “Jeannie” Boyles; his daughters, Melissa Boyles and Jennifer Boyles; his parents, James Howard Boyles and Martha Jean Boyles; and his sisters, Ruth Boyles and Judy Boyles.

He leaves behind his granddaughters, Lindsey Rich and Katherine Kirk, and his only great-grandson, Ezra Kirk, who will carry his memory forward. He is also survived by his siblings, James “Jim” Boyles, Michael “Mike” Boyles, William “Gary” Boyles, Glenda Chandler, Karen Boyles James, and Donald Boyles, along with extended family and loved ones who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Though Joseph has left this world, the love he gave his family and the laughter he brought into their lives will never be forgotten. His life was one of hard work, devotion, and caring for others. The impact he made on his family will continue to be felt in the stories they tell, the memories they hold close, and the generations that will grow up knowing the love he left behind.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A memorial service celebrating Joseph’s life will be held on November 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Joe and members of his immediate family were neighbors for years. Watched the girls grow up as we adults grew old. He was always kind and respectful.
I know his family has wonderful memories to draw on in years to come. May you each find strength knowing his journey was well lived.
Respectfully, the Cross and Beadle families.
