Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Karen Carroll Wilson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 18th, surrounded by the love of her family.

Throughout her life, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, wife, sister and friend.  She poured her heart into mothering and without question or pause she became mother to any who needed her.  Karen was rich in family and leaves behind a legacy of love through the generations of family she raised and loved.

Her giving heart could always be measured by family and friends as she had no limit to what she would give to help others. If she had nothing to give- she had a couch, she had a meal.  She honored the Lord, in service to others through her generosity.  She was someone to be proud of.  Her life, though simple, was full of purpose.

She is preceded in death by her father, Pierce Carroll; her mother, Iris Jane Monahan; her stepfather Jerry Monahan; her brother Russell Carroll; her sister, Deborah Meeks; her niece Amanda Branham; her grandson Nicholas Wilson and her great-granddaughter Madalyn Key.

She leaves behind her stepmother, Sharon Carroll; her sister, Tina Hollingsworth (Kevin); her brother Mark Monahan (Autumn)  and her beloved children:  Kristina Wilson; Carrie Miller (Christopher); Chad Wilson; Joe Wilson (Kim); Johnathan Wilson (Cortney); Jessica Gates (Matt); Carla Key (Randy); Chuck Wilson; and Carl Wilson.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren whom she loved dearly and often boasted of her proudness for each of them:  Kara, Gary, Cornelius, Ashton, Denver, Charles, Kimberly, J.R., Kayla, Jason, Chris, Tori, Donovan, Hayden, Brayleigh, James, Ian, Evelyn, Masun, Teagan, and twenty-three precious great grandchildren.

Karen was a humble giver who loved the Lord and trusted all of life’s battles in his hands.  Though her earthly life has ended, the memories she created, the lessons she taught, and the love she has shared will remain in the hearts of those who loved her forever.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Victory Baptist Church in Sherwood, Arkansas, with Brother Larry Campbell officiating at 11:00 a.m.. A graveside service and interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery to bury her ashes.   Flowers may be sent to Victory Baptist Church.
