Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Robert Daniel Edwards, age 59, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on October 5, 2026. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 15, 1967 to the late Robert Lewis Edwards and Linda Lee Edwards.

Danny is survived by his wife Mary Edwards; five children Michael (Trista), John, Jeremy (Kristen), Joshua (Stephanie), and Heather; 15 grandchildren Harlee, Katherine, Garrett, Robert, Addison, Joseph, Nevaeh, Gabe, Emmerson, Warren, Danielle, Jace, Justice, Joslin, and Jarrett; four siblings Ileene, Helen, Mary, and Deborah; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Danny enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. He found great enjoyment in the peace and quiet of being outdoors. He also had a passion for shooting pool, where he enjoyed both the friendly competition and the challenge of testing his skills. He proudly participated in tournaments and leagues, making lasting memories along the way.

Above all else, Danny cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. They brought him tremendous joy, and some of his happiest moments were spent laughing, talking, playing, and simply being together. His family held a very special place in his heart, and the memories they created together will be treasured forever. For Danny, there was nothing more meaningful than being surrounded by the people he loved most.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.

I’m so sorry that we lost a good man. Danny was one of the best people I have known. He literally knew everyone and I’ve never heard a bad word spoken about him. I pray that Mary, Michael, Josh, Jeremy, and JD and Heather find peace knowing that he is no longer in pain. I will keep you all in my prayers.

My most sincere condolences for Danny’s family. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Heaven gained a great soul. He was such a good person with a heart of gold. I still think of him as “Dinky” , a term of endearment from his parents. God bless and keep you in your time of sorrow.
