Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

William Frederick “Bill” Bishop, age 82, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on September 23, 2026. He was born in Denver, Colorado on October 11, 1943 to Fred Leslie and Pearl Margaret Bishop.

William, who went by Bill, grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but moved to the Ozarks in the late 70s. He lived in the same home in Conway for almost 30 years. He had 27 years of military service followed by his only biological son Clifford, who was killed in service at 28 years old. Bill spent 20 plus years driving 18-Wheelers for JB Hunt, where he received the one million miles accident-free award.

Bill was a wonderful husband to his wife, Linda. He was an amazing stepfather and even better grandpa to one grandson and three granddaughters. Just recently in April, he became a great-grandfather. He had five siblings, two who have passed (Lavonne and John) and three surviving (Larry, Linda, and Peggy). He will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
